Goal: Relclaiming a friendship missed that has faded.
Objectives: a. skill
b. knowledge
Methods: -call friend many times and talk for more than 10 minutes (catching up)
-set up times/days to meet up; hang out
-knowing your family history of friendship, being that we were best friends, apply past knowledge an use it to catch up and remind each of us how important the friendship was and still it.
Assessment: -My objectives and methods worked. I have been trying to reclaim this friendship for a while now and talking and hanging out and having so much in common has brought us back to being best friends and it just seems we've picked up where we left off. I know that it takes efforts from both sides to make things work and both of us wanted to be friends again.
Reflection: It reflects to chapter 9 in problem solving and being able to identify the problem and findingn solutions to fix the problem and ways to fix them. Then carrying out solutions to the problems and trying to fix the problem and then commit into keeping it from becoming a problem again.

Is Technology a Problem?
I think that technology has its ups and downs. I think that technology does have its promises with helping us to adapt to "real world" situations and to understand it for future work experience, but on the other hand I think that some aspects of technology should not be looked upon for learning and educating. For example, the making of a youtube video would not be an item that I would choose to educate my students. Many people have their own points of view about certain things that would be beneficial and that wouldnt. Having some common knowledge of the internet is just something to have, but I think that important technological items to use for learning would be word processing, clip art, power point, spreadsheet, etc.

Budget Cuts
A controversial topic related to education is budget cuts. It is something happening all the time and either curriculum is being cut, salary is being cut, or releasing staff and/or curriculum. I feel that money should be budgeted to fit more of school needs then something not as important to school. The goverenment is trying to crack down on making education better and increasing scores, etc. but it is hard to do those things when they are not allowing us the funds to do this. We need to rely on education and not other systems that already have funding and get more funding. I think that we, as future teachers, need to find ways to help increase budgets and help keep programs going and allow us to get the things we need to be good teachers!

Why do we teach? What is the difference between school "work" and student "learning"? What makes for good teaching? We teach because we are trying to make a difference for others and teaching them for their later successions in life. The difference between school work and student learning is that school work is a refresher/review for what was learned that day to make sure the student understand what they were taught. Student learning is what they learn from the discussion, activity, group work, etc. and understanding what they are taught and also possibly why they are taught that. Good teaching is made from wanting to teach and having the heart to want to help others succeed and benefit. Also good teaching comes from how you teach your students and how they learn from you.
